Deputy Manager – Mental Health Residential Service

Are you passionate about improving mental health care and supporting individuals on their recovery journey? We’re looking for a Deputy Manager (Registered Mental Health Nurse) to join a brand-new residential service for adults with long-term mental health needs.
This 26-bed nurse-led service provides 24-hour care and rehabilitation within a safe, therapeutic, and homely environment. Based in a peaceful setting, it offers a supportive space for residents transitioning from hospital-based care to more independent living.
Key Responsibilities
As Deputy Manager, you will:
- Lead and support the nursing team to ensure a high standard of care and safety for residents.
- Apply and uphold governance, safeguarding, and risk management standards across the service.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with residents, families, and external professionals to deliver person-centred care.
About You
This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll need to be compassionate, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to inspire and support others.
- Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
- Minimum of 18 months to 2 years’ post-registration experience within a clinical or mental health setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
