Corporate Solicitor

An established and highly regarded regional law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor (5+ years’ PQE) to join its growing Corporate & Commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of high-quality matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

You will handle a varied caseload of corporate matters and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the department. The position offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to contribute to business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on a wide range of corporate transactions, including:
• Mergers & acquisitions
• Company restructures
• Shareholder and partnership agreements
• Joint ventures
• General corporate governance matters
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate documentation
• Providing clear, commercial advice to clients across a range of sectors
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years’ PQE in corporate law
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in handling corporate transactions
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable

• Experience advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses
• Interest or experience in business development and networking
