This position is crucial for maximising commercial returns across a key product category. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive category plan that leverages the business’s significant scale.
Key areas of focus will include:
- Maximise revenue and profit margins through strategic seasonal planning and competitive promotional execution.
- Lead high-value supplier negotiations to drive cost reductions while maintaining premium product quality.
- Curate and optimise product lifecycles, from initial sourcing and selection to strategic range exits.
- Monitor retail trends and competitor moves to keep product offerings relevant and ahead of the curve.
- Forecast demand and manage cross-functional logistics to ensure 100% product availability and service levels.
What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this position, you must be a driven, self-motivated professional with proven success in a commercial trading environment:
- Demonstrable working knowledge and successful category management experience within the Wholesale, Retail, or FMCG (Food/Drink) sector.
