Senior AI Engineer, Agentic AI, Remote or Hybrid, €80k to €120k plus equity

Who are they
They’re a fast growing, venture backed startup building an AI driven platform used in a major global industry. Their product is already live, analysing large volumes of data and helping customers make faster, more accurate decisions.
The team is lean and engineering led, with strong backing and clear traction. They’ve built a solid foundation and are now scaling both the product and the AI capabilities behind it.
You’ll be joining at a key stage, where the focus is on turning strong AI systems into robust, production ready features used daily by customers. Your work will directly shape how the product evolves over the next phase of growth.
What are we looking for
You’re someone who has operated in real environments, not just experimentation. You understand how to take something from idea to production and make it reliable, scalable and valuable.
You’re comfortable working across the stack, making decisions with imperfect information, and focusing on outcomes rather than over engineering.
You will have
• 5 plus years building and deploying production systems
• Strong Python experience, writing clean, maintainable code
• Experience shipping end to end features into a product, not just models
• Strong TypeScript, React or Node experience
• Experience building APIs, backend services and data pipelines
• Hands on experience with LLM systems, agent workflows, RAG or similar
• Strong understanding of system design and production environments
You will stand out if you
• Think in terms of product impact, not just technical output
• Can navigate ambiguity and still ship high quality work
• Have a bias for action and validate ideas through data
• Can quickly identify what matters in complex systems
• Communicate clearly and explain trade offs effectively
Bonus points for
• Experience with search, ranking, recommendation or prediction systems
• Strong testing practices across the stack
• Exposure to classical ML alongside LLM systems
• Experience running experiments and improving systems through iteration
