Enterprise Flex-E-Rent is our commercial vehicle rental division, providing services tailored to the needs of commercial vehicle hire customers from locations across the UK and Ireland. Join our team and be one of the people driving our growth.Our Events Team is a dedicated specialist division, hiring a fleet of over 1000 golf buggies and ATV’s to major UK events, and many industries on short- and long-term hire, operating out of 3 locations covering the UK using our own fleet of transporters.To help understand and find out more about our Flex-E-Rent Buggies division of Enterprise Mobility, please visit: https://www.flexerent.co.uk/golf-buggy-hire Location Mill Lane, Nursling, SO16 0YEWhat You’ll Be Doing: As a Golf Buggy Technician within our specialist team, you will be an integral part of our day-to-day operations ensuring our large fleet and Golf Buggies and ATV’s meet our high standards for hire. Our fleet includes both diesel and electric ATV’s and also Electric and Petrol golf buggies. Your day-to-day role would involve you being a part of our productive workshop team maintaining and repairing our fleet of ATV’s and Golf Buggies and preparing and inspecting them for long- and short-term hire. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults or replacing damaged parts may play a part in your day. Our technicians also attend customers sites in the case of vehicle faults, in our fully fitted out service vans. In our Summer season, you may have the opportunity to work on site at some major UK events as part of an on-site team, this may involve overnight stays and weekend work with a paid overtime allowance / on call bonus. Like any job role in the mechanical field, you will be expected to maintain vehicle service and maintenance records using our workshop system, (on a laptop you will be supplied with - training will be provided on this system) You are expected to comply with depot specific health and safety rules, comply with all aspects of safety and legal legislation and performing in line with company policy, delivering preventative and proactive maintenance in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be expected to maintain a clean and tidy working area, ensuring your equipment is safe and maintaining security measures that are in place to ensure theft prevention.What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for someone who can work as part of a team, with good communication and organisation skills. Customer service experience is an advantage due to the nature of our onsite work.You don’t need any specific golf buggy qualifications, but knowledge of plant / agricultural machinery or Groundscare machinery would be advantageous. You are a qualified technician holding a LCV Level 2 or 3 certification in the motor or motorbike industry, You have no formal qualification but have time served mechanical experience, we are happy to review and take this into account.FlexibilityPunctual and reliableA positive “Can Do” attitude A Full UK / Irish / EU Manual Driving Licence6 points or fewer on your driving licence (for insurance purposes)Aged 21 or above (for insurance purposes)Ready to Make Your Mark?
