AltonStreet Surgery has an exciting opportunity for a Salaried General Practitionerto join our friendly and supportive practice. We are a CQC outstanding rated,forward-thinking practice, continually investing in our future. We arecommitted to delivering high-quality care to our 11,700 registered patients. Weare a training practice (with 4 GP trainers) that also provides medical coverto the local 32 bed community hospital opposite, and an active member of theSouth and West Herefordshire Primary Care Network.
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS Contract.
Furthermore, the post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
AltonStreet Surgery is well established and has a very good reputation for patientcare and accessibility. In 2018 the surgery received a rating of Outstandingfrom the CQC. The practice provides care to approximately 11,700 patients inRoss-on-Wye and surrounding rural areas.
Wehave a young and enthusiastic Partnership who are family friendly and whoencourage a strong team ethos within the surgery. It is very important to thepartners that this is maintained and developed. Learning is important in theorganisation, and the partners encourage the development of staff.
Thepractice has the support of a large clinical team, which includes allied healthprofessionals such as an ANP, ACP, Clinical Pharmacist and an experiencednursing and HCA team. We have experienced administration and reception teamswho actively manage workflow optimisation, signposting, and pathologydelegation, helping to reduce some of the administrative burdens.
