Chaudhary Group (CG) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial function of its Auto Business in Brighton, UK. The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, governance, and performance of CG’s Auto Business operations across Europe.

This role requires a highly experienced finance professional with demonstrated expertise in managing complex, multi-jurisdictional environments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sustainable financial growth aligned with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial leadership to support business growth, expansion, and long-term value creation
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across European operations
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and applicable local regulations
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls, risk management frameworks, and corporate governance standards
  • Oversee treasury, cash flow management, capital structuring, and funding strategies
  • Drive financial discipline, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and business transformation
  • Lead financial due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, and investment evaluation activities
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, financial institutions, regulators, and investors
  • Build and develop a high-performing, geographically dispersed finance team

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant exposure to senior leadership roles
  • Proven experience in the automotive industry or related manufacturing/industrial sectors
  • Demonstrated capability in managing finance functions across multiple European jurisdictions
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and regulatory environments within Europe
  • Experience in driving financial transformation, process improvements, and organizational scale-up
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment
