We are exclusively retained to identify a commercially astute Chief Financial Officer to lead a high-performing, private equity-backed software business through its next phase of growth and a potential exit. With strong annual recurring revenue and EBITDA, the company delivers solutions to enterprise clients across multiple sectors.
This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for a proven CFO who thrives in dynamic, growth-oriented environments and understands the strategic levers of value creation in a private equity context.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial strategy, planning, and operations, including FP&A, reporting, treasury, and compliance.
- Partner with the CEO and board to shape and execute the value creation plan.
- Drive operational efficiency, margin improvement, and scalable growth.
- Prepare the business for a successful exit, including vendor due diligence and transaction execution.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team aligned with strategic goals.
Candidate Profile
- Proven CFO experience in SaaS or software-led businesses, ideally with ARR and EBITDA scale. (Revenue size from £50 to £100m)
- Strong track record in private equity environments, including successful exits.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to influence strategy and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, change-oriented settings.
- Gravitas and credibility to engage with investors, boards, and external stakeholders.
