About the Role: As the Executive Assistant to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at BioNTech, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Commercial leadership. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute directly to the success of our Commercial strategies. You will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your organizational expertise and proactive mindset will make a meaningful impact on achieving our mission. You will act as a trusted partner to the CCO, managing day-to-day priorities, ensuring efficient communication across teams, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CCO, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Manage complex scheduling, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination to optimize the CCO’s time and productivity.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and meeting materials that support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee key administrative functions such as document management, expense reporting, and correspondence handling.
- Support cross-functional projects by tracking progress, coordinating deliverables, and maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
- Actively anticipate and manage operational challenges to keep the CCO’s agenda running efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor; capable of building trust and fostering collaboration at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital communication tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
- A proactive attitude with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
