Role Description
We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Head of Business Development to join Tribera on a fixed-term basis, covering a period of maternity leave. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the growth of Tribera’s operational portfolio across both existing and new target markets.
Key responsibilities
- Source and identify new opportunities through Tribera Living’s existing network of institutional capital partners, as well as developing relationships with new potential investment partners.
- Lead and coordinate the Business Development team to ensure all prospective projects are thoroughly analysed from both micro-location and financial perspectives.
- Prepare and deliver compelling submission proposals and pitches to investors and developers, clearly articulating Tribera Living’s value proposition and operational expertise.
- Represent Tribera Living at key industry events, conferences, and networking forums to maintain and enhance brand visibility across targeted markets.
- Negotiate and sign new Property Management Agreements (PMAs) for new projects across all current operating countries and targeted expansion markets.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Asset Management, Finance, and Operations) to ensure seamless onboarding of new projects.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and investment sentiment to inform business development strategy.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the PBSA sector at a senior or Director level, with a strong background in business development, investment, or capital partnerships and a thorough understanding of the European student housing market.
- Strong financial background, with the ability to assess and calculate the financial viability of projects, analyse investment proposals, and underwrite real estate deals.
- Educational diploma or degree in Finance, Hospitality Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate business development teams and pitch compelling proposals to institutional investors.
- Ability to travel frequently within Europe as required by the role.
- Fluency in English is essential; fluency in German, Italian, or Spanish is a significant advantage.
