Corporate Security Officer
Location: Broughton, Chester, CH4
Pay: £13.25 - £13.79 per hour
Hours: Resilience – Guaranteed 42 hours per week covering days, nights and weekends. Rotating shift pattern: one week of early shifts (5:00 am – 1:30 pm), followed by one week of late shifts (12:30 pm – 9:00 pm).
Grade: Site Based
Responsibilities
- Protect intellectual property and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Maintain site security and carry out daily tasks to keep the site secure and compliant.
- Access control: manage access points and conduct staff and vehicle searches.
- Patrols & monitoring: conduct building patrols and monitor security alarm panels.
- Emergency response: act swiftly and efficiently to manage risk events.
- Wing escort duties: prevent traffic blockages and unauthorised access.
- Drug & alcohol testing: conduct ad‑hoc testing to maintain a safe work environment.
- Intermediate emergency care (IEC): volunteer‑based; may become mandatory if insufficient volunteers.
Qualifications
- UK right to work with 5‑year checkable history.
- SIA licence – valid Security Industry Authority licence.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organisational, customer service and communication skills.
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) clearance; must be a British National and have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.
