P&GSS (Proactive & Global Security Services) is scaling its technology and product capabilities in 2026, investing in customer experience, risk intelligence, cloud modernisation and data-driven innovation.
You will work across a broad and evolving technology landscape, supporting approximately 8 delivery teams focused on capabilities such as Asset Discovery, Risk Intelligence, Data Standardisation, Customer Experience and Mobile Applications. In practice, this means partnering closely with Product and Engineering to provide architectural clarity across multiple concurrent initiatives — helping teams move quickly while maintaining consistency, quality and security.
This role sits within an small but experienced Architecture team, but is strongly aligned with one of our most exciting business units, reporting directly to the Principal Architect for Proactive & Global Security Services. This structure is intentional as it ensures close alignment between day‑to‑day solution design and longer‑term architectural direction.
You will work in close partnership with the Principal Architect — who sets the strategic roadmap, standards and cross‑business alignment — while you focus on embedding those principles into delivery. Together, this creates a strong balance between pragmatic, hands‑on architecture and coherent long‑term design, avoiding bottlenecks while maintaining high standards across the platform.
This is a hands‑on architecture role in a fast‑moving environment — ideal for someone who enjoys being close to delivery while influencing how a modern, scalable technology estate evolves. You will help ensure that as we scale, we do so with consistency, resilience and strong governance — enabling rapid innovation without compromising quality or security. You will own solution design across your teams, make architectural decisions, and influence how services are built and evolve. At the same time, you will be well‑supported — with access to clear architectural direction, patterns, and an experienced Principal Architect to collaborate with on more complex or strategic challenges.
