Tech Pair are delighted to be working with this organisation in Glasgow who are currently going through a digital transformation programme.
This is not a typical architecture role. This is a hands‑on Solutions Architect position at the centre of a major transformation programme, where you’ll play a key role in modernising a legacy‑heavy environment and shaping the future technology landscape.
The purpose of the role is to design and deliver end‑to‑end solutions across applications, infrastructure, cloud, integration and security working from initial concept through to implementation.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and third‑party partners to define, design and implement solutions that are both practical and scalable.
Skills you will bring:
- A strong, well‑rounded architecture background across cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP experience), infrastructure, applications and integration, with experience modernising legacy systems and designing scalable, secure solutions.
- You’ll have experience working with APIs, data flows and enterprise platforms, and be comfortable balancing innovation with governance in a complex environment.
- You’ll be comfortable operating as the architectural authority in a small team, able to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery and confident engaging stakeholders across both business and technology.
It goes without saying you’ll be an excellent communicator, able to simplify complexity and drive decisions someone who takes pride in delivering properly and building things that last.
