Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – .NET / Azure
Location: Greater Manchester/Hybrid

Join a forward-thinking Tech for Good scale-up in Greater Manchester that is revolutionising the medical industry. With a platform designed to assist doctors in saving lives, this company has made a significant impact in the healthcare sector. They are gearing up for their next phase of growth, including the launch of Version 3 of their innovative platform and expansion into the USA market later this year.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in building Version 3 of the platform, working with cutting-edge technologies including .NET 8 hosted on Azure. This role offers the opportunity to be a key member of the team, collaborating closely with the CTO to make critical technical decisions. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the platform and contribute to its success in the USA market. Part of the platform is built in Python and so you must have some experience and understanding of Python.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality software solutions using C# .NET 8, PostgreSQL / SQL Server and Azure Functions
- Work closely with the CTO and cross-functional teams to drive technical decisions and product development.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver features and enhancements on time and within scope.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of the platform.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with C# .NET Core
- Proficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of Azure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
