My client is seeking a hands‑on Commercial Director to lead multi‑project delivery while scaling the business from £3.3m to £10m over the next 2+ years. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong network of clients, who is looking to join a smaller, ambitious company and play a key role in its growth journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day operations across multiple live construction projects
- Drive high standards in Health & Safety and compliance
- Protect margin through strong commercial control (costs, variations, forecasting)
- Manage and develop teams, setting clear standards and accountability
- Implement systems, processes, and structure to support growth from £3.3m to £10m
Experience
- Managed multiple construction projects end‑to‑end
- Delivered safe, compliant, and profitable projects
- Demonstrated experience within government/public‑sector construction
- Balanced operational delivery with commercial performance
- Identified risks early and acted decisively
- Built scalable processes and ways of working
