A market-leading offshore firm is seeking a Corporate Partner to add further strength to their well-established British Virgin Islands team. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing development of the corporate practice and the growth of the wider office.
It may suit an experienced offshore lawyer seeking an excellent platform on which to build the next stage of their career, or a successful onshore lawyer with a track record of excellence in an international firm. In either case, you will need to be able to demonstrate a strong market profile and an aptitude for client management and business development.
Responsibilities
Taking a lead on client and matter management, you will be exposed to a wide range of work spanning banking and finance, capital markets, M&A, FinTech/digital assets, investment funds/regulatory, private equity, and venture capital. You will likely have substantial experience in some of these areas and a willingness to build expertise in the others.
In keeping with the seniority of this role, you will play an integral role in the management of the team, and, in collaboration with the Managing Partner and the Group Head, will be expected to play a key role in generating new business.

Qualifications
- Admitted in the BVI or England & Wales, Scotland or Ireland.
- Currently based in or willing to relocate to BVI.
- Strong track record in a prominent onshore or offshore law firm with expertise in banking and finance, capital markets, corporate (M&A/PE/VC), funds/regulatory, and/or digital assets/emerging technologies.
- Open to considering current Partners or Senior Counsel ready to step up.
- Strong leadership, management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Package
Very strong USD base salary, a good bonus, benefits and a comprehensive relocation package (if required). BVI has a low tax rate and a reasonable cost of living.
