A 10 bedroom boutique hotel in Sleat is looking for a live in Hotel Manager to run daily operations. This role suits someone hands on who is comfortable taking full responsibility in a small hotel setting.
The role
- Manage the day to day running of the hotel
- Deliver a high standard of guest experience from arrival to departure
- Work across reception, housekeeping, and service as needed
- Manage bookings, reservations, and online platforms
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout
- Handle guest queries and resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Oversee basic maintenance and coordinate contractors when required
- Support basic financial tracking and cost control
Working pattern
- Flexible hours required
- Includes weekend and peak season working
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Self motivated and practical approach
- Confidence working in a small team in a remote location
- Good administrative and IT skills
