We are supporting a well-established, global business seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and inspire their international sales team. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to shape commercial strategy, drive growth, and influence business performance across multiple sectors.

About the Role

As Sales Director, you will develop and implement a global commercial strategy, lead a high-performing sales team, and expand the company’s reach across existing and new markets. You’ll focus on growing membership and service sales, building strategic key account plans, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and supporting events and exhibitions globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a global commercial strategy to drive new business
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to meet targets and KPIs
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Develop key account plans and identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Organise events, exhibitions, and webinars to promote services
  • Travel internationally to support business growth initiatives

About You

  • Proven experience designing and delivering a commercial strategy
  • Track record of leading, motivating, and inspiring sales teams
  • Strong understanding of diverse industries and supply chains
  • Results-driven with measurable success in sales growth
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational skills and self-motivated
  • Comfortable with international travel and face-to-face meetings
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, Teams/Zoom, PowerPoint, and CRM systems

Desirable

  • Experience in testing or certification environments
  • Event management and delivery experience
  • Experience in international sales and social media engagement
