Senior CAD Design Engineer

Trueform is a leading designer and manufacturer of digital signage, architectural metalwork and intelligent street furniture for Transport, Retail, Smart City and Telecommunications applications. To support increasing demand for Trueform’s award winning products we require a number of additional, experienced senior CAD designers to assist in the delivery of a number of high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

Working within the design engineering department, candidates will be responsible for the design and production of CAD manufacturing drawings for sheet metal and fabricated metal products.

Qualifications

• A degree, HNC or equivalent in a design or engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Full familiarity with metal sections, sheet metal materials and fabrication/manufacturing processes.
• Some electro- mechanical design experience is desirable.
• Competent in 3D Design; experienced with Autodesk Inventor (preferred); SolidWorks or Autodesk Mechanical Desktop considered.
