Are you a qualified and experienced lawyer with a passion for safeguarding vulnerable adults? Our busy, friendly and supportive children and adults legal team would like to hear from you. We are centrally located in Nottingham, close to the local courts and within easy reach of all transport links in and out of the city. The work includes Court of Protection proceedings (in respect of adults and young people aged 16‑18), mental health and the Care Act 2014. We provide advice and representation to the Adult Social Care, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and Deputyship teams and Approved Mental Health Professionals on the full range of adult social care work including:
The role includes secretarial and paralegal support, effective collaboration with other members of the team, and is designated as hybrid working. It would suit a candidate with some experience seeking to develop their adult social care practice.
