Construction Solicitor (Contentious)
Location: London. Salary: £90-110,000 (DOE).
About the role
Following the continued success of its Construction team, this specialized firm is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Solicitor. You will advise a varied client base across both the public and private sectors on a wide range of contentious construction matters, including complex disputes arising under industry‑standard construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC). You will support clients through adjudication, litigation, arbitration and other dispute resolution processes, delivering strategic, commercially focused advice to help clients navigate challenges and achieve practical, effective outcomes.
Candidate profile
- Minimum 6 years PQE with a strong track record in contentious construction law.
- Experience at a well‑regarded firm recognised for its expertise in the sector.
- Ability to manage your own caseload, with excellent technical knowledge and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
- Enthusiastic about business development and building lasting client relationships.
