Overview
Site Manager – Mixed-Use Development. Location: Central Swansea. Duration: Project running until early 2027, with follow-on opportunities thereafter. Reporting to: Project Manager. Our client has an upcoming opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a significant mixed-use development in Swansea central.
Project responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Project Manager, initially coordinate and quality control all external façade packages, then transition to managing M&E installations and internal finishes as the project progresses.
- Coordinate external façade subcontractors including brickwork, curtain walling, windows and doors, and flat roofing works.
- Ensure quality standards are achieved and maintained across packages.
- Monitor programme progress and support delivery milestones.
- Liaise with subcontractors, consultants and the wider site team.
- Support the Project Manager to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
- Transition into overseeing internal fit-out phases including M&E and finishes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on multi-storey residential or mixed-use developments.
- Strong experience managing façade packages.
- Good working knowledge of M&E coordination and internal finishing stages.
- SMSTS certification
- CSCS (Black or Gold preferred)
- First Aid at Work (preferred)
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
