Job Description:

We are looking for talented Project Managers to join our teams across the UK in the expanding Water Infrastructure market. These roles offer opportunities for career‑driven individuals to own design projects from inception to completion and work across a range of challenging projects.

Overview

The AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure Project Delivery Practice (PDP) is the centre of excellence for the delivery of infrastructure projects and provides a full suite of services to public and private‑sector clients.

Your role

  • Delivery of project management and contract administration through the project life cycle.
  • Ensure a common understanding of requirements and scope, programme, costs, constraints, risk and interfaces across the team.
  • Management of the day‑to‑day client relationship.
  • Deliver governance arrangements for projects within business policies and procedures to ensure a robust outcome. Manage the project within client and AtkinsRéalis agreed budgets.
  • Negotiate and administer change control in accordance with the contract. Manage risks through the project life cycle.
  • Clear and accurate monitoring and reporting of project performance against programme, technical quality, financial and KPI targets, both internally and externally.
  • As a project leader, build, motivate, guide and develop project teams.
  • Communicate delivery of projects and tasks in accordance with the AtkinsRéalis Values, Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation and Excellence.

About You

  • Engineering background with design management, project management and contract administration experience.
  • Experience in a Project Management position.
  • Experience working in the water industry preferable but not essential.
  • Experience working with contractor organisations, ideally in a Design & Build environment. Understanding of and experience deploying various forms of construction contracts, especially NEC3 or 4.
  • Experience managing design projects or assisting in the management of projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience working closely with multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and flexible working attitude, adaptability and a positive response to challenges.

Security Clearance

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require proof of residency in the UK of five years or longer.
