Deputy Shop Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Deputy Shop Manager to work alongside the Shop Manager and the team at our Charity Shop in Radbrook Green, Shrewsbury, Shropshire. You will receive a competitive salary of £12.71 per hour, plus an excellent benefits package which includes:

Role Details

• Role: Deputy Shop Manager
• Contract: Part-time / Fixed-term (Minimum 3 months with potential to extend)
• Hours: 21 hours per week
• Salary: £12.71 per hour (£13,916pa pro-rata, based on £24,851pa FTE)
• Location: The Mall, Radbrook Green Centre, Bank Farm Road, Radbrook Green, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY3 6DU

What will you do as our Deputy Shop Manager?

• Support the Shop Manager to proactively drive sales and profit.
• Assist in the recruitment, management and motivation of a team of dedicated volunteers.
• Sort and process stock, deal with customers, maintain high visual standards, and run the shop in the manager’s absence.

Our ideal Deputy Shop Manager

• You will be a manager or supervisor with previous retail experience.
• A confident manager able to motivate and develop a team of volunteers.
• Hands‑on and lead from the front, with creativity to generate new donation ideas.
• Energetic and enthusiastic personality with belief in teamwork.
• Although not essential, experience working in the Charity sector would be desirable.

This Deputy Shop Manager role will be subject to satisfactory DBS check, references and Home Office right to work clearance.
