Build and optimise the operational engine behind a high growth food business.
We are hiring a data driven operator to lead Central Operations for a rapidly scaling food startup working across FMCG, QSR and dark kitchen concepts.
This is not a pure operations role.
You will sit at the centre of the business, owning performance data, building reporting, and turning insight into action across partners, launches and markets.
If you are someone who naturally digs into data, questions performance, and builds structure where things are messy, this role is built for you.
What is in it for you
- Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience
- High ownership and visibility from day one
- Direct exposure to leadership and growth decisions
- Opportunity to shape how operations scale internationally
- Fast progression as the business grows
- The chance to build systems, not just run them
What you will be doing
- Leading Central Operations across a hybrid on site and offshore team
- Owning partner and performance data, analysing trends, identifying issues, and driving action
- Building dashboards and reporting to track performance across partners, menus and launches
- Turning complex data into clear operational plans and launch strategies
- Acting as project lead for new partner launches and market activations
- Driving AI, automation and tech improvements across workflows
- Working directly with leadership on growth decisions
- Building scalable processes as the business expands internationally
What we are looking for
- This role is for someone who is both commercially sharp and analytically strong.
- We are specifically looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a food startup within FMCG, QSR or dark kitchens
- Can independently analyse data and extract meaningful insights, not just read reports
- Has built dashboards or reporting that have influenced real business decisions
- Is highly confident with tools such as:
- Excel or Google Sheets at an advanced level
- SQL or similar preferred but not essential
- BI tools such as Looker, Power BI or Tableau
- Enjoys digging into detail to understand why performance is changing
- Is comfortable working in ambiguity and bringing structure to fast moving environments
- Takes ownership and drives initiatives without needing direction
- Is excited by automation, AI and building smarter ways of working
What good looks like in this role
You have previously:
- Analysed store, partner or product performance to identify underperformance
- Built dashboards tracking revenue, margin or operational KPIs
- Used data to influence decisions on launches, pricing or partnerships
- Created reporting that leadership relied on to make decisions
