Restaurant Director

As Restaurant Director, you will take full ownership of the guest journey, leading a highly skilled team and ensuring service standards reflect the prestige of the operation. This role requires a confident, polished hospitality leader with a strong restaurant management background and an excellent understanding of wine, capable of inspiring the team whilst maintaining the warmth and personality that defines truly memorable dining.

Restaurant Director Ideal Profile:

• A proven background in high-end restaurant management within fine dining environments
• Strong wine knowledge with the ability to confidently guide guests and support the sommelier team
• A natural leader who motivates, mentors and develops front of house professionals
• Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, payroll and performance targets
• Calm, composed and solutions-focused under pressure
• Lead and oversee the entire front of house operation ensuring impeccable service standards
• Work closely with the senior kitchen team to deliver a seamless and cohesive dining experience
• Drive team performance through training, coaching and structured development
• Maintain and elevate wine service standards, supporting pairings and guest recommendations
• Manage rotas, staffing levels and departmental costs in line with business objectives
• Ensure compliance with all operational policies and hospitality best practice
