Finance Business Partner (12-Month FTC) – Fast Moving Consumer Goods

We’re seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to support operations on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across a diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional teams to support the development and execution of short‑ and long‑term business strategies
• Manage financial performance across a significant budget, ensuring robust forecasting, effective cost control, and strong return on investment.
• Provide detailed P&L analysis, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities to support informed decision‑making.
• Support revenue management initiatives through financial modelling and analysis, contributing to pricing and promotional strategy decisions.
• Contribute to innovation and investment planning by developing business cases and evaluating new opportunities.
• Support new product initiatives through financial modelling, performance tracking, and post‑launch analysis.
• Lead regular forecasting and reporting processes, delivering clear and concise updates to senior stakeholders.
• Enhance analytical capabilities by improving tools, models, and reporting processes to enable more effective decision‑making.
• Communicate financial insights in a clear and actionable way to both finance and non‑finance audiences.

About You

• Qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent) with at least 2+ years of post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in a commercially focused finance role, ideally within a fast‑paced or consumer‑driven environment.
• Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
• Confident working with stakeholders across different functions, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
• Clear and effective communicator, able to present complex information in a straightforward way.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive and adaptable approach.
