Role Summary
The Director, Performance Management is a senior engineering leader responsible for setting the strategy, architecture, delivery, and operational excellence of the enterprise‑wide Oracle EPM platform. You will drive the design and implementation of modern performance management capabilities—including planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and analytics—supporting the organisation’s financial and strategic decision‑making.
What You'll Be Doing
- Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define the multi‑year technology strategy for the Oracle EPM platform, aligned to Finance, Technology, and enterprise objectives.
- Engineering & Platform Ownership: Lead engineering delivery across the full product lifecycle: roadmap, design, build, test, deploy, and operate.
- Team Leadership & Organisation Management: Direct and grow a multi‑disciplinary engineering team including solution architects, developers, product managers, analysts, and platform engineers.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day‑to‑day platform operations, SLAs, incident management, and release cycles.
- Delivery & Stakeholder Management: Deliver high‑impact Oracle EPM programmes—new modules, upgrades, integrations, regulatory changes, and process optimisation.
What You'll Bring
- Technical Expertise: Deep hands‑on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud (EPBC/FP&A, FCC, PCM, ARC, etc.).
- Leadership & Delivery: 10+ years delivering enterprise‑scale Finance/EPM platforms, including at least 5 years in senior engineering leadership roles.
- Business & Collaboration Skills: Strong partnership with Finance leaders; excellent communication; strategic multi‑year roadmap execution.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle EPM certifications; Agile/SAFe experience; familiarity with Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI; experience in finance transformation (close automation, predictive insights, driver‑based planning).
