We have been instructed by a well-capitalised investment platform seeking to hire an Investment Associate and/or Investment Manager into its growing team in the North of England.

This is an unique opportunity to join an established investor with a long-term capital base, focused on backing high-potential technology and life sciences businesses emerging from leading UK research institutions.

The Role

offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including:

• Sourcing and evaluating early-stage opportunities through established academic and industry networks;
• Conducting detailed commercial, financial, and technical due diligence;
• Supporting transaction execution and investment committee processes;
• Working closely with portfolio companies to track performance and support growth;
• Contributing to thematic research and sector insights;

Qualifications

• Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, or investing roles;
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities;
• A demonstrable interest in innovation, technology, or science-led businesses;
• The ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders;
