Grade: LGPCD Scale 8-9 (Points 25-33) (depending on experience) plus Fringe Area Allowance
Actual Salary based on the above £35,996 to £44,082
Based at: SEAX Trust Central Office, with regular visits to Trust Academies
Reports to: Director of Finance & Procurement, with certain specific duties allocated by the relevant HTs
Liaison with: CEO, Trust Business Team, Head of Schools, SLT, teaching colleagues, support colleagues, public, contractors, and other agencies.
Job Purpose
To work in conjunction with the SEAX Trust Business Team to ensure systems and procedures follow the requirements of the SEAX Trust. The SEAX Trust Business Team will provide advice and monitoring support. To ensure that management and operation of financial planning and procedures are highly effective, supporting Leadership Teams in making budgetary decisions and informing long-term planning in the designated school.
Main Responsibilities
- Financial Management – Manage and prepare monthly forecasts and long-term plans; monitor contracts and agreements; explore cost-saving initiatives
- Operational Oversight – Ensure services, structures, and systems comply with legislation and Trust policies; address financial challenges; contribute to strategic planning
