Group Financial Controller

Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote)

The Role

We’re currently supporting a high-growth, Private Equity-backed business in the search for a technically strong Group Financial Controller to join the organisation on a permanent basis.

This is a key leadership role within the finance function and an urgent hire, offering the opportunity to play a central role in a complex, fast-scaling business. The role would suit someone with a Big 4 background (or equivalent) who enjoys operating in dynamic environments and partnering closely with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of group reporting, consolidations, and monthly close
• Leading technical accounting matters, including IFRS, audit, and statutory reporting
• Managing relationships with external auditors and advisors
• Supporting the business through continued growth, change, and value-creation initiatives
• Helping to strengthen and scale financial controls, processes, and systems
• Acting as a key finance partner to the senior leadership team

Candidate Profile

• Big 4 trained (or equivalent technical background)
• Strong experience in group reporting, audit, and technical accounting
• Experience operating in a Private Equity-backed or high-growth environment
