Finance Business Partner

Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment is working with a growing FTSE 250 company to recruit a Finance Business Partner into its finance team.

This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support commercial decision-making.

The role

As a Finance Business Partner, helping to shape performance and influence key decisions. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis, supporting forecasting and planning, and providing clear commentary on business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Business partner with operational and senior stakeholders to support performance and decision-making.
• Deliver robust analysis of monthly results, key trends, and variances.
• Lead or support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes.
• Prepare insightful reporting packs and commentary for management.
• Challenge assumptions and provide commercial recommendations.
• Support key projects and initiatives with financial input and analysis.
• Improve reporting tools, processes, and visibility across the business.
• Build strong relationships across finance and operational teams.

About you

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
• Strong background in commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering.
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Commercially minded, proactive, and solution‑focused.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, changing environment would be beneficial.
