Finance Business Partner | London | Media | 12-month FTC | £75k | Hybrid
I'm partnering with a leading media organisation that is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity to step into a commercially focused FP&A role within a fast-moving, creative environment.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver detailed variance analysis to support business performance reviews
- Build and maintain financial models to support new commercial initiatives and strategic planning
- Work closely with the Finance team during month-end, producing accurate reporting, insights and commentary
- Take ownership of key elements of the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Partner with both financial and non-financial stakeholders across the organisation
- Support cross-functional projects aimed at improving profitability, enhancing operational efficiency and evolving commercial processes
What we're looking for
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- 2-3 years post-qualification experience
- Background in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, or a similar commercial finance role
- Strong analytical skillset with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams
- Confident relationship-builder who can influence decisions and collaborate effectively
- High attention to detail, structured working style, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
- Commercially minded approach with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Interest in continuous improvement across processes, systems and reporting
- Familiarity with tools such as Workday, Adaptive, Hyperion or Google Workspace is helpful but not essential
