Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner | London | Media | 12-month FTC | £75k | Hybrid

I’m partnering with a leading media organisation that is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity to step into a commercially focused FP&A role within a fast-moving, creative environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver detailed variance analysis to support business performance reviews
• Build and maintain financial models to support new commercial initiatives and strategic planning
• Work closely with the Finance team during month-end, producing accurate reporting, insights and commentary
• Take ownership of key elements of the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Partner with both financial and non-financial stakeholders across the organisation
• Support cross-functional projects aimed at improving profitability, enhancing operational efficiency and evolving commercial processes

What we’re looking for

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• 2-3 years post-qualification experience
• Background in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, or a similar commercial finance role
• Strong analytical skillset with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams
• Confident relationship-builder who can influence decisions and collaborate effectively
• High attention to detail, structured working style, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
• Commercially minded approach with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Interest in continuous improvement across processes, systems and reporting
• Familiarity with tools such as Workday, Adaptive, Hyperion or Google Workspace is helpful but not essential
