Our Client, one of the world’s most profound hedge funds, is looking for a Trade Support Analyst to join their Equities team in their London office. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with and provide first and second-level support for Portfolio managers, Traders, and research teams to streamline processes related to the top-level trading/research and development teams.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated abilities within high-performance teams in the finance industry, be a self-starter that demonstrated a strong sense of ownership, execution and a real passion for solving investment business problems with technology. Very strong communication skills is a must, especially the ability to explain technical situations to non-technical stakeholders from all levels within the business.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide rapid first‑ and second‑level support to Front Office teams, ensuring minimal disruption to trading and research activities.
- Support the firm’s proprietary equities software suite across positions, risk, research, and P&L.
- Gather business requirements and coordinate delivery with engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce operational load.
- Serve as a central communication point between investment professionals and technical teams.
Requirements
- Prior financial industry experience, ideally in trading or front‑office support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
- Ability to prioritise and operate effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Confidently engaging directly with Front Office stakeholders.
