Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner | 12 month contract | Hybrid (3 days in office) | Multis site consumer | Feb start

This is an exciting commercial finance role for a large multi sire consumer brand. Its a 12 month fixed term contract which offers hybrid working of 3 days in the office in and 2 from home.

Its paying £75-80k (depending on experience) + excellent bonus. It would suit a qualified accountant who has previous experience in a commercial finance role, consumer is not a must have but would be preferable.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as the senior finance representative within operational leadership teams, shaping commercial performance and outcomes
• Advise on opportunities to improve profitability, manage costs and grow revenue
• Partner closely with the business to influence commercial decisions aligned to strategic priorities
• Translate financial data and insights into clear recommendations that support effective decision-making
• Partner with stakeholders to agree actions that deliver strategy, offering constructive challenge where needed
• Drive initiatives to reduce supplier costs and support commercial negotiations and contract renewals

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven experience in a commercial finance role, working in close partnership with senior stakeholders and operational leaders.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
