Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites. The ideal candidate will be Level 3 qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with strong building services knowledge and experience working in a client-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance across multiple buildings.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and general building services faults.
- Complete compliance checks, record findings, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Respond promptly to call-outs and ensure minimal disruption to client operations.
- Support building fabric maintenance where required (basic plumbing, basic carpentry, HVAC checks, etc.).
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with H&S regulations and company procedures.
- Liaise professionally with clients, building managers, and helpdesk teams.
- Carry out small remedial works and minor installations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Strong building services knowledge (HVAC, plant rooms, pumps, lighting, AHUs, FCUs etc.).
- Experience working in commercial facilities or multi-site environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Good understanding of health & safety and safe working practices.
Desirable Skills
- 18th Edition (if electrically biased).
- F-Gas (if mechanically biased).
- Experience working foot-mobile within central London or similar environments.
