Fire and Security Engineer – Scotland – £28,000–£40,000 per annum

Package Overview

  • £28,000–£40,000 Basic Salary + Overtime (Negotiable depending on experience)
  • Full‑time, Permanent
  • Monday to Friday hours
  • Area Covered: Scotland (More than one role available. Work is carefully allocated based on location and skillset.)

Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Fire and Security Engineer to join a highly valued team on a full‑time, permanent basis. With many years’ experience in the industry, they are expanding their team to meet customer demand.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Installation, service, repair, fault‑finding & maintenance of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV & access control systems
  • Field based role covering a number of sites
  • Working on a range of brands and manufacturers
  • Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered
  • Communicate effectively with customers at all times
  • Ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Provide support to team members where required

Skills and Experience Required

  • A full UK driving licence or equivalent (essential)
  • Drive and enthusiasm to grab opportunities
  • Ideally at least 3 years’ experience within the fire and security sector
  • Considering applicants with single discipline if willing to train
  • Knowledge of a range of manufacturers
  • Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA and/or City & Guilds
  • Positive attitude and ability to self‑motivate
