Security Engineer

Overview

Position: Intruder Alarm Installation Engineer. Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience + overtime + call out. Benefits include overtime paid, call out rota, travel time paid after first hour each way, and 20-25 days holiday (based on service). Type: Permanent / Full Time.

The role will involve fault finding, preventative maintenance and providing high quality installations while ensuring systems meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Installation of intruder alarm systems across a variety of client sites
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and servicing of security systems
• Attending breakdowns and call-outs as part of a rota
• Diagnosing and resolving faults across security systems
• Carrying out small associated electrical remedial works where required

Qualifications and requirements

• Proven experience installing and servicing intruder alarm systems
• Knowledge of Risco systems would be advantageous
• Experience fault finding within electronic security systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
