We are a global, data-driven digital marketing agency, with key specialism in marketing automation and customer acquisition. We are looking for a senior web developer to join our small agile team. You will be responsible for 6 websites and leading the development of our overall technology architecture. Our work is fast paced and varied, and can often include video and audio, e-commerce, advertising technologies, and media AI solutions.
About You
Ideally, you will have previously worked in a dynamic agency environment and will be able to take high-level direction, turning your ideas into a relevant and tangible output. You will be ready to collaborate with the team and provide guidance to junior team members
- 5+ years of professional web development experience
- 3+ years of agency experience
- Strong understanding and experience of hosting solutions
- Experience with standard APIs
- Experience with the maintenance, support and enhancements of websites
- Experience with website migrations
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS
- Excellent knowledge of PHP, SQL
- Excellent knowledge of WordPress
- Experience with front end frameworks e.g. Vue.js and React
- Confident with version control e.g. GIT
- Experience with client relationships/management

- Team player and comfortable using own initiative
- Appetite to learn, research and self-teach
- Commercial or agency development experience in a similar environment
- Self-motivated and confident to put forward ideas
Your Responsibilities
- Initial migration of new clients websites from another agency
- Develop and test new website features
- Develop enhancements to website security and performance
- Manage our hosting company relationship (managed service)
- Making decisions on the best frameworks to develop for the future
- Actively contribute to the growth of the web development team
