Corporate Associate Solicitor | National Law Firm | Birmingham/Hybrid Working

This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexible and hybrid working as standard. The firm provides a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Role

• Work as part of an established corporate team advising on a broad range of transactional matters
• Support on corporate finance transactions including M&A, joint ventures, and private equity deals
• Draft and negotiate key corporate documents including SPAs, shareholders’ agreements, and articles of association
• Manage matters in line with client expectations, ensuring work is delivered to a high technical standard and within agreed timelines
• Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues across the firm
• Play an active role in business development, including:
  • Assisting with seminars and thought leadership
  • Preparing articles and client updates
  • Attending networking events
  • Supporting tender processes and pitches

About You

• Experience advising on a range of corporate matters at Associate level (ideally 2-6 PQE)
• Strong technical skills across M&A and general corporate work
• Excellent drafting ability and the confidence to provide clear, commercially focused advice
• A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in building client relationships
• A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to team and firm-wide initiatives
