Senior Associate - Corporate/Leveraged Finance | Leading Global Law Firm | 4PQE+

BCL Legal is working on behalf of a leading global law firm to recruit a Senior Associate to join their Banking & Finance Practice Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a Corporate/Leveraged Finance lawyer with 4+ years' PQE to join a market‑leading team that advises high-profile clients across a range of complex and high-value transactions.

The Role

As a Senior Associate, you will be involved in a diverse range of Corporate and Leveraged Finance transactions, working with a variety of clients including private equity sponsors, corporates, and financial institutions. The work spans both domestic and cross‑border deals, including M&A, refinancing, asset‑based lending, and debt capital markets. You'll have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, contribute to business development, and mentor junior colleagues, all while gaining exposure to a wide variety of work across different finance sub‑specialisms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support on complex Corporate and Leveraged Finance transactions
• Advise clients from sectors such as private equity, banking, and corporate finance
• Collaborate closely with teams such as Corporate, Tax, Restructuring, and Private Equity to deliver integrated solutions
• Manage client relationships and play a key role in business development
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team
• Contribute to knowledge management, training, and marketing initiatives

The Candidate

Our client is seeking a qualified solicitor with 4+ years' PQE in Corporate Debt/Leveraged Finance. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex transactions and client relationships, and will be motivated by working in a highly collaborative, client‑focused environment. The firm is also looking for someone who is keen to contribute to business development and help mentor junior team members.
