Senior Civil Engineer
Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within a mixed civil/structural engineering team, contributing to the design and analysis of various building forms across industrial, commercial, and bespoke projects. Reporting to a Principal Engineer, the Senior Engineer will oversee design packages, manage a technician, and lead smaller projects, supporting our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and analysis of diverse building forms using multiple materials.
- Collaborate effectively within a mixed civil/structural engineering team.
- Represent all areas of expertise at meetings and convey key actions to specific designers as required.
- Oversee design packages and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Manage and mentor a technician, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Lead smaller projects, demonstrating leadership and technical expertise.
- Support the Principal Engineer in delivering high-quality solutions and meeting client expectations.
Requirements of the role
- Near-chartered status with ICE or IStructE.
- Proficiency in design across multiple materials and varied building forms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proven track record of managing design packages and leading projects.
