Northfield School is a large 11-16 school and specialist sports college. We are an ambitious and inclusive school with state-of-the-art facilities and interactive technology in a well-resourced newly refurbished main building and a separate Year 7 school.
Following the retirement of the current postholder, we are seeking an exceptional and ambitious Assistant Headteacher, with a proven track record of success, who will work closely with the Headteacher and the wider senior leadership team in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the school. The successful candidate will lead, manage and develop key strategic areas, aligned to school priorities as part of this role.
There is flexibility in determining the specific responsibilities to tailor the post to the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
Following an inspection in February 2023, Ofsted judged the school to be good in all areas. This is a great time to join the school and a fantastic opportunity for the right colleague to help develop the future strategic direction of the school.
