X2 Network Consultant & Engineer – Cisco Lan Enterprise – Cisco, Juniper and/or Aruba Certs – £45K – £70K – Homebased, office, hybrid – North West
As a Senior Network Design & Implementation Engineer or Network Project Engineer, you will design, implement and support network infrastructure for customers. You will work on projects using Cisco LAN and Wireless Enterprise technologies, as well as Juniper and Aruba solutions.
The role involves planning, designing and implementing networking architecture, including edge and core switching, telecommunications routers, enterprise wireless, Unified Communications and Wide Area Networks. You will be responsible for low‑level design, installation, audits, fault investigation and escalation support.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, design and implement networking and wireless projects for external customers.
- Perform installation, audits, fault investigation and present reports.
- Act as an escalation support line for 2nd & 3rd liners.
- Undergo DBS clearance.
- Complete NPPV3 post probation.
Key qualifications:
- Unified Cisco, Juniper and/or Aruba certifications.
- Strong background in LAN networking.
- Experience in low‑level LAN design and implementation.
- Expertise in Cisco LAN enterprise & wireless projects.
Work location: Two offices in the North West; hybrid working model. You will be aligned to one office while able to expense to the other.
