RF Engineer

Overview

Capgemini Engineering is looking for an RF Engineer to derive detailed RF Test System requirements from a detailed equipment specification. The role supports the production of test solution documentation and formal reviews with Projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, integration, validation and documentation of RF Test Systems solutions; deliver the test & control solution, including hardware where applicable, and coordinate related disciplines.
• Ensure the developed solution is produced within the relevant issued quality processes.
• Liaise with the Project Responsible Engineer to achieve successful project milestone reviews with associated document inputs.
• Maintain the solution and provide support through the project operations phase (with the support of the Test Operations organisation).
• Provide responses/advice regarding test hardware related occurrence reports and non-conformance raised.
• Support weekly and monthly reporting to the project team and the department management team.
• Report to both Project Management and the RF Test Systems Team Lead.

Your profile

• HND in Electronic Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Graduate in Electrical / RF Engineering; Aerospace; Electrical manufacture and design.
• Good analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem resolution and investigations.
• Good communication and team working skills.
• Able to present technical data to peers and project managers in a coherent manner.
• Able to negotiate with multi-team environments.
