1454 - Director, Activation - Client Teams
We are looking for a Director to lead the Activation for Client Teams, driving planning and buying of AV campaigns.
Role Summary
- Deliver media buying commitments across multiple clients who work with different auditors and methodologies, providing regular internal reporting and problem solving. Must have experience working with media auditors.
- Ownership of daily buying delivery, both hands‑on and supervising line reports, ensuring:
- All buying metrics are hit – campaign objectives, deal parameters and client commitments.
- Processes and admin are adhered to including approvals (on time), book moves, TV value monitoring and reporting, spend checks, reconciliations, 3rd party tagging & tracking delivery and all financial admin is correct.
- Develop annual, quarterly and campaign‑based AV strategies across multiple clients, including:
- Justify the presence of linear TV on a schedule, understanding its impact on business objectives.
- Justify the presence of Video on Demand on a schedule, with a strong understanding of this fast‑moving area.
- Evaluate the relative merits of different campaign options (channel mix, TV flighting, targeting, time‑length, etc.).
- Present post‑campaign analyses of buying results, reference objectives defined at planning, and incorporate learnings into future planning.
- Present elements of the AV strategy as part of new business pitches.
- Team management:
- Oversee work for accuracy and quality.
- Motivate the team to meet high standards.
- Guide prioritisation so deadlines are met.
- Co‑coach team in goal setting and feedback.
Candidate
- Extensive experience working in AV within a media agency.
