Remote R&D Tax Director - Exclusive Search

A specialist consultancy with worldwide presence and a growing annual revenue is strengthening its UK R&D Tax function. The firm works with large household names and leading accountancy practices, delivering high-quality innovation and R&D tax solutions through a collaborative, technical-first model. This is a senior, delivery-focused position acting as a technical authority across the business. Key responsibilities include:

• Enhanced review of R&D and Patent Box submissions, ensuring full HMRC compliance
• Liaising directly with HMRC, resolving enquiries and disputes
• Supporting sales and developing relationships with accounting partners
• Advising clients on maximising claims and optimising corporation tax positions
• Delivering internal and external training on R&D tax matters

You will be ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified with significant UK corporate tax and R&D tax experience, and confident interpreting complex legislation. This role offers genuine technical ownership, client exposure and influence without heavy people management.
