Job Description
Turner & Townsend’s Digital Advisory business is growing and building capability to meet our 2030 Strategy. We are seeking an experienced Digital Advisory Consulting Manager specialising in Asset Intensive Industries, Built Environment, Energy and Natural Resources or Defence. Knowledge of PMIS systems, ERP systems and agile tooling is advantageous. The role is for proactive, driven individuals with an appetite and capability in service delivery excellence, business generation, people & operations, and service development.
Key Requirements
- Digital & Technology Strategy expertise, supporting development of Digital Strategy, Advisory and Transformation service offering and new commercial opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to adapt and embed into client environments, identify and communicate with stakeholders.
- Experience leading workshops, process improvement, and requirements management.
- Experience in Digital Strategy & Transformation projects via Agile and/or Waterfall teams.
- Experience in digital transformation, gathering, reviewing and analysing business/industry data using data analytics tools.
- Knowledge of platforms such as Power BI, SQL, Power Platform, SharePoint, and MS Projects.
Scope
Consultants work within the Digital consulting team and may operate across Turner & Townsend project teams from other units. They interact with clients and stakeholders, supporting a wide range of projects.
- Delivery of high-impact digital transformation programmes across strategic sectors.
- Trusted advisor on digital strategy, technology adoption, and enterprise architecture.
- Business growth through lead generation, bid management, and proposal development.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Shape and enhance digital service offerings through productization and knowledge management.
Key Accountabilities
Service Delivery
- Lead client engagements in Digital Strategy & Insights, Technology Advisory, Transformation Management, and Enterprise Architecture.
- Define and implement digital roadmaps aligned with client objectives.
- Ensure delivery quality, client satisfaction, and measurable outcomes.
Business Generation
- Drive lead generation and identify new opportunities within target sectors.
- Manage bid writing/management, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Build strong client relationships to support repeat business and long-term partnerships.
People & Operations
- Manage and develop a team of consultants, coaching, mentorship, and training.
- Support resource planning and operational efficiency within the digital advisory practice.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Service Development
- Contribute to digital strategy productization and playbook development.
- Maintain and enhance insights and benchmarking databases.
- Innovate and refine service offerings to meet evolving market needs.
Qualifications
- Good analytic and strong numeracy skills, ability to understand and present data.
- Strong level of Microsoft Office required.
- Degree in an analytic subject or MBA (advantageous).
- Business Analysis qualifications such as BCS or IIBA desirable; extensive experience considered.
Additional Information
The role may include SOX control responsibilities, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
