Certain Advantage is hiring for an Integration Lead Engineer – Vehicle Efficiency based in the Warwickshire area. This role is on a contract basis and is site-based.

The Role

This role is for an Integration Lead Engineer – Vehicle Efficiency—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results‑oriented and driven to succeed. You'll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

  • Conducting strategic target setting for the Vehicle Efficiency attribute (including competitive positioning assessment & benchmark, assessment of fleet compliance requirements, customer feedback data analysis, real‑world customer data analysis, reviews of legislative requirements, etc.)
  • Collaborating with energy node owners in influencing and defining strategic technology roadmaps
  • Conducting a target compatibility assessment and negotiation between the Vehicle Efficiency attribute and vehicle energy node owners

The Individual

We're looking for people who can show:

  • Technical understanding of how vehicle energy nodes (road load, propulsion efficiency, electrical loads, etc.) affect vehicle‑level efficiency and driving range
  • Significant exposure to vehicle attributes and/or vehicle system delivery
  • Educated to a Degree level with a focus on Mechanical or Systems engineering

Desirable

  • Knowledge and/or experience of working with Agile operating principles
  • Knowledge of vehicle efficiency legislative homologation/certification methods, processes and implementation
  • Knowledge and/or experience of Computer Aided Engineering testing methodologies related to vehicle efficiency
